Vaults is an old Coaching House with some of the most extraordinary ceilings you will see anywhere. Architecturally a masterpiece the vaulted ceilings create a unique place to dine.
At well over 300 years old Vaults is one of the oldest buildings in the Almancil area.
The dining room is stylishly yet informally decorated to compliment the building. Vaults has a vibrant and yet relaxed atmosphere.
Lil has been running Vaults in Almancil since 2005.
The menu has a Bistro style feel that is complimented by the daily specials on offer. Wednesday nights are expectional with the Curry Special.

Vaults has a new head chef, Steve, who trained in London, where he worked at various restaurants and his own restaurant.
While Steve says his style is mainly European he loves to produce fresh fish dishes and his sauces are exceptional. Client favourites include Prawns Piri Piri, Warm Goats Cheese with Honey salad, Calves Liver with Onion Gravy and Pork Fillets flambee in Brandy served with a mustard sauce.
Vegetarians and Special dietary requirements can be catered for by prior arrangement.
